Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Minecraft server hosting and related services (the "Service") provided by Lava Cascade Hosting ("we", "us", operated by Lava Cascade Hosting). By creating an account, placing an order, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The Service

We provide game-server hosting for Minecraft, managed through the Pterodactyl panel. Plans are sized by RAM and billed per term (monthly, quarterly, or annually). Features and limits are described on our site and may change over time.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account and on your servers.
• You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country, or have a parent/guardian agree on your behalf.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to host, store, or transmit anything that:

• is illegal, or infringes someone else's rights;
• attacks, disrupts, or attempts to gain unauthorised access to any system (including DoS/DDoS, port scanning, or botnets);
• distributes malware, phishing, or spam;
• contains hateful, harassing, or sexually exploitative material, especially anything involving minors;
• violates the Minecraft EULA or Mojang/Microsoft's rules.

We may suspend or remove content or servers that breach this section, and serious breaches may end your account without refund.

5. Payment & billing

• Prices are shown in US dollars and are charged upfront for the chosen term. You may owe local taxes depending on where you are.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; by paying you also accept Stripe's terms. We don't store your card details.
• Plans renew automatically. When you check out you're starting a subscription: your card is charged again at the end of each billing period (monthly, every 3 months, or yearly, as chosen) at the same rate, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard, and your server keeps running until the end of the period you've already paid for.
• Failed payment: if a renewal charge is declined, your server is suspended straight away, but nothing is deleted. You then have a three-week grace period from the due date to settle the balance — pay the outstanding invoice or update your card and the server is switched back on with every file intact.
• Expiry and deletion: if the balance is still unpaid when the three weeks are up, the subscription is cancelled and the service expires. The suspended server and all of its data are then kept for a further 30 days before being permanently deleted. Deletion is irreversible, so please export any world you care about before then.

6. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate the Service for non-payment, breach of these Terms, or where required by law. You can stop using the Service at any time; see our Refund Policy for what's refundable.

7. Availability & backups

We work hard to keep servers online but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Backups, where offered, are provided on a best-effort basis — keep your own copies of anything important.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous three months. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data or profits.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
